For TUI InfoTec GmbH in Berlin we are seeking with immediate effect a: PMO Analyst (w/m) Digital Platforms

Joining Digital Platforms PMO as an Advisor you will focus on pro-actively providing an independent view and analysis across a number of programmes/projects ensuring transparency of information to enable senior management decisions which lead to the overall successful delivery of projects to time, cost and scope. You will be assigned to work on projects within the Big Data, Customer Analytics & Reporting and Machine Learning portfolio. Specifically, your tasks will include:

  • Work within the project management team and support the Director of Big Data, Customer Analytics & Reporting and Machine Learning making sure to understand the nature and key elements of each programme/project
  • Co-ordinate the end to end project delivery governance for a portfolio of projects, including scheduling and arranging of project checkpoints, working with the accountable project managers, actively participating in meetings, capturing output, providing summary reports and supporting in the resolution of outstanding risks and issues which are blocking a project from proceeding through the lifecycle
  • Ensure that all projects have a project plan that contains the mandatory key milestones
  • Assist project managers to ensure readiness for all checkpoint meetings, providing an early indication to any items that are not on track to meet the defined success criteria at each checkpoint
  • Carry out post project reviews with project managers to review the application of the project delivery framework process, identifying areas of improvement, ensuring findings are documented and stored for future reference (lessons learned)
  • Carry out ad-hoc project audits to ensure the documentation exists, is up to date and in line with quality standards
  • Analyse project data to produce management information and identify improvement opportunities
  • Conduct independent assessment of projects status and propose project delivery improvements
  • Ensure that all project risks, issues and opportunities are appropriately identified, recorded, monitored, managed, mitigated and resolved
  • Work jointly with project managers, identifying areas of improvement, challenging where necessary, and escalating as required including a summary of the plan to address
  • Provide information to Group Project Controlling and Group IT Governance teams in order to aggregate information at the enterprise level
  • Identify and deliver actions to improve the quality of delivery based on monitoring and reporting activities and management information
  • Maintain the Big Data, Customer Analytics & Reporting and Machine Learning delivery roadmap showing each project, the forecasted milestone dates and variance to baseline
  • Academic degree in informatics, economics or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in project co-ordination, project management and/or exposure to the end to end project lifecycle
  • Experience of working within a structured project management framework
  • Good knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Excellent capabilities of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Experience in working with Daptiv desirable
  • Strong analytical skills and data/BI affinity
  • Very good communication skills in fluent English and German (written and spoken)
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills combined with a strong focus on details
  • Ability to manage different stakeholder groups, balance diplomacy and tact with assertiveness
